Heey 🙂

I want to thank you all so much for your unconditional support and spiritual covering over this season of my life. Since I signed up for the race in 2019 it has been a WILD ride. The Lord keeps opening doors for me to serve Him through Adventures in Missions and providing for me in unexpected ways. You have been a crucial part of this journey and I appreciate you so so much. THANK YOU! Thank you.

With your continued support we have been able to further the Kingdom this year. I want to share what that has looked like and also invite you to partner with me again for what’s coming next!

In my last blog I shared how God made a way for me to lead a Semesters trip. I had the opportunity to walk with and disciple for three months 12 amazing young adults (18-22yo) as we partnered with Iglesia de Monte Sión in Costa Rica and Palacagüina Christian Academy in Nicaragua.

Leading this trip was an amazing experience. What once was something very scary for me (I am a 30yo venezuelan so, there is a huge age-cultural difference), God used to expand my heart and give me a passion for the next generation. It was very hard and stretching, but also an absolute privilege that left me with a deep sense of hope. There is a small but powerful remnant in GenZ* that is hungry for truth and is answering God’s call for holiness. In a social media world full of comparison, they are learning how to choose fear of God > fear of men. They are going against everything society is doing and they are choosing to live a life set apart, leaving everything behind for Him. I now feel called in this season to disciple and equip them to live out their faith.

*Did you know that only 4% of GenZ (10-25yo) has a biblical worldview?
“Today’s teens are less Christian and more confused about moral and spiritual truth than ever.…We need to emphasize training. Entertaining teenagers or just making sure students attend church is not producing a confident faith. We can and must do better.” – Barna and Impact 360 Institute Research.
You can learn more about Gen Z and what research shows in this link and this link too.

After my time leading this trip on the field, God opened doors for me to work with the same age group during the summer as I mentored two trips from the U.S. –  one leaving for Africa and the other to Costa Rica. As my heart longed to be out on the international mission field, the Lord called me to something different. Mentoring meant being the squads spiritual covering here in the States. I got to train and equip them before leaving, and debrief them when they came back so they could transition well as they seek to bring home this Holy Spirit led Kingdom lifestyle and all the things they learned on the field. I also got to learn all the logistics and behind the scenes that go into the trips our organization facilitates. This honestly gave me a huge appreciation for all the people that work from the office, haha.

I am passionate about walking with people, being able to speak truth into their lives, and encouraging and calling them out to be more like Jesus. Having to do that remotely was a big shift for my heart. The Lord used this season to help me hone into what discipleship means and the importance of it, even from afar. My primary focus was taking care of the leaders that were on the field, so instead of caring for 20-30 people I was closely walking with five leaders. I learned how to let go of control and trust them to be my eyes on the field. God used this summer to grow different areas of my leadership and I am really grateful for this opportunity!

So… What’s next?

As I close this mentoring season, I am getting ready to go back out on the international mission field!! WHAT? Thank you God!! He knows my heart is to be with the people so this is a huge privilege for me. I am honored and excited that I get to walk with and serve alongside a new group of 30+ young adults that are willing and committed to pursue a relationship with Jesus and BE the church all over the world.

I will be leaving this upcoming September and leading P-squad for the first 5 months of their 11 month mission trip. Our first two stops will be Guatemala and Romania, but honestly we are holding all things loosely and trusting God to come up with an always better/higher than our ways plan! You can learn more about the group and the route we have “planned” in this link

Please join us in prayer!! As we prepare to leave the U.S. in a little over six weeks, I am sure there will be a lot of spiritual attacks. Pray for provision, protection and confirmation. May peace and truth be spoken over this next season. May God’s voice be louder than the lies of the enemy. If you read a bit about GenZ in the link I shared above, you know that the fact that this generation is choosing God is a miracle and that the enemy is not happy at all. So your spiritual covering is essential and absolutely needed!

I also want to invite you to partner with me financially. I will need $5000 to cover the expenses of 5 months on the field. Please prayerfully consider being a part of the miracle of provision God will make. You can do so by donating in this link

ESPAÑOL

Hola!!
