Heeello from Guatemala! 

Wow, if you had told me on my 2021 race that I would be here again almost two years later I don’t know if I would’ve believed you!!!! THE LORD IS WILD!! And always, always has more for us.. Not only am I here, but He called me to lead a whole new group of almost 30 American missionaries in English!! It is crazy for me to think what the Lord has done in me and how He has changed my heart and expanded my territory. It has been a surprisingly beautiful journey. And you all have been a part of it! THANK YOU! For your unconditional love and support. 

During the past couple of months I have been through a whole roller coaster including 2 weeks of leadership training, 2 weeks of meeting, training and launching with my new squad and a month of being in Guatemala doing ministry with REINDOM. It has been a combination between a firehose of the Holy Spirit equipping me to lead + bonding with my new leadership team + building and pouring into a new community + being on the international field again doing hands on ministry (in Español praise God!! I love my heart language) So, please pray for all the changes that come with this season and for me to lean into what the Lord has for me. I truly need Him to be my only source. It has been stretching, hard but good.

I want to take some time to introduce you to our leadership team and our squad so you can be covering us in prayer.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Our coaches Matt and Kathy. They bring wisdom, insight and their experience from their walk in the Lord. They are caring and love us unconditionally. We look up to their spiritual authority and admire them so much. We LOVE them! (They are actually my coaches from my 2021 race)

Our mentor Lindsey. She is part of the Adventures in Missions staff. Her role is to provide the logistical and spiritual covering we need as leaders to disciple, equip, train and lead the squad well. She is the connection between us on the mission field and the office back in the US. We also LOVE her!! (She was my co-lead from my 2021 race!!) Both the Mentor and Coaches come out on the field a couple of times a year to visit the squad to debrief and equip the squad in person. 

My alumni coleads Aaron and Samantha. Together we are the eyes, hands and feet of Jesus! Haha and the leadership team on the field. We have all done the race before. We get to join the teams, bring perspective and model what it looks like to live out a life focused on intimacy with God, community with each other and how to be on mission for Jesus. We report back to our coaches and mentor and get to share what is going on out here on the field. We will be with the squad their first 5 months of their 11 month trip. After that we raise up leaders within the squad and we pass the torch on! So cool! (Aaron was also part of my 2021 race haha)

Please pray for us!!! We need God’s wisdom and discernment on how to lead and serve the squad well. Pray for unity, provision, effective communication and protection against spiritual attacks. We are confident that this team was put together by the Lord and we love working together. It is truly a gift to be a part of this dream team! 

P SQUAD

Our squad is made up of 7 guys and 20 girls. We are currently split in 5 teams each working with different ministries all over Guatemala. Our heart and vision is “Because we bear the image of Christ and are filled with the Holy Spirit we will steward what the Father has entrusted us with unconditional Love, Integrity, genuine Faith, absolute Truth and radical Service.”  We call these values our P squad LIFTS :)

WHALE TEAM SIX

This is the team I am with right now! We are currently in the town of Sumpango partnering with Reindom ministry.

LAWN CHAIR CRISIS

Alyssa, Jaden, Michael, Jakson, Sarah and Jordan.

They are working in the town of Poptún with One Way Community.

This team is partnering with Dar para Dar ministry in the town of Chimachoy. 

CHAMELEONS

They are in San Antonio Aguas Calientes working with HOPE Worship Room.

GLORIA A DIOS 

Amy, Maggie, Mikahla and Joana.

This team is where I got to do ministry on my race, the town of Chicamán. They are workign with Team Commissioned for Christ International.

Please pray for our squad!!

• As they walk in this season of abandonment and brokenness, that they may lean into the Lord for comfort and not to anything the world has to offer.
• UNITY!! That they are able to press into more vulnerability with each other as they figure out their team dynamics. The enemy looves to bring division so pray against any spiritual attacks.
• Wisdom and discernment on how to serve our hosts well, partner with what the Lord is already doing here in Guatemala and be Jesus’ hands and feet everywhere we go.
• Peace as they continue to trust the Lord will provide. Some of them are still fundraising! Like me haha.
• For them to find their true identity in Christ that is not based on what we DO for Him, but on who we are.
• More boldness and courage to step into their God given giftings and for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that empowers them to share the Good News.

I also wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has decided to support me financially in this season. The Lord keeps providing through you for everything I need and more, and I cannot believe I am already +50% funded! It is a blessing for me to not worry about the financial stress that fundraising brings, I trust that the Lord has done it in the past and will do it again!

With your support, YOU are a huge part of what the Lord is doing through me and through P squad out here. Please know this! I am so grateful for you and pray the Lord keeps blessing you so you can be a blessing to those around you.

¡Hola desde Guatemala!

Wow, si me hubieras dicho en mi viaje misionero del 2021 que estaría aquí de nuevo casi dos años después, no sé si te hubiera creído ¡¡DIOS ES INCREÍBLE!! Y siempre, siempre tiene más para nosotros... No solo estoy aquí, sino que ¡Él me llamó para liderar un grupo nuevo de casi 30 misioneros en inglés! Es loco pensar lo que el Señor ha hecho en mí y cómo ha cambiado mi corazón y expandido mi territorio. Ha sido una bella travesía.. Y todos ustedes han sido parte de esto ¡GRACIAS! Por su amor y apoyo incondicional.

Durante los últimos meses he pasado por toda una montaña rusa que incluye 2 semanas de capacitación en liderazgo, 2 semanas de conocer y entrenar a mi nuevo equipo de 30 misioneros y 1 mes de estar en Guatemala haciendo ministerio con REINDOM. Ha sido una combinación entre el Espíritu Santo equipandome para liderar + compartir con mi nuevo equipo de liderazgo + invertir en una nueva comunidad de 30 personas + estar fuera del país de nuevo haciendo ministerio (¡en español, gloria a Dios! amo el lenguaje de mi corazón) Entonces, por favor oren por todos los cambios que vienen con esta temporada y que pueda depender sólo en el Señor. Realmente necesito que Él sea mi única fuente. Ha sido difícil, muy duro pero muy bueno.

Quiero tomar este tiempo para presentarles a nuestro equipo de liderazgo y el grupo con el que estaré trabajando los próximos 5 meses para que puedan cubrirnos en oración. 

EQUIPO DE LIDERAZGO 

Nuestros coaches Matt y Kathy. Traen sabiduría, perspectiva y su experiencia de su caminar con el Señor. Son muy atentos y nos aman incondicionalmente. Admiramos su autoridad espiritual ¡Y los amamos a ellos! (¡son mis coaches de mi viaje del 2021!)

Nuestra mentora Lindsey. Ella es parte del personal de Aventuras en Misiones. Su función es brindar la cobertura logística y espiritual que necesitamos como líderes para discipular, equipar y dirigir bien al grupo. Ella es la conexión entre nosotros en el campo misionero y la oficina en los Estados Unidos. ¡¡También la amamos!! (¡Ella fue mi co-líder en mi viaje del 2021!) Tanto la mentora como los coaches visitarán al equipo un par de veces al año para reunirse y entrenar al equipo en persona.

Mis colíderes Aaron y Samantha (en la foto). ¡Juntos somos los ojos, manos y pies de Jesús! Jaja y del equipo de liderazgo. Todos ya hemos hecho este viaje de 11 meses. Nos unimos a los equipos, aportamos nueva perspectiva y modelamos cómo tener una vida centrada en intimidad con Dios, comunidad entre creyentes y cómo vivir la misión de Jesús. Reportamos a nuestros coaches y mentores compartiendo lo que está sucediendo aquí en el campo misionero. Estaremos con el equipo los primeros 5 meses de su viaje. ¡
