Many reasons to be thankful / Muchas razones para estar agradecida

Thanksgiving is celebrated in many places, and I would like to take this time to thank the Lord and you who read me for all your support and prayers. I want to share with you some great news: God has done a miracle!!! Well, actually +130 miracles. To this date I have received more than 130 donations from people I know, people I don’t know and others who have given anonymously… all this represents 97% of the funds I need!

I repeat, THIS IS A MIRACLE. There is no other way to explain this and all the glory is only for our God. There is nothing that I could have done to make this possible. This 2019 I had to fully trust God and I never thought He would provide all the funds before the end of the year. But He always does immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20) There is no way that our minds can handle all that He is doing and His plans to bless us.

THANK YOU AGAIN!!! I want to thank God first, thank you that are reading this and thanks to my family and friends for all your support. I am eternally grateful, thank you thank you thank you. I still can’t believe it.

In addition to this great reason to be thankful, there is so much to be grateful for and that we often take for granted.

This 2019 has not been easy for me but I am eternally grateful because at all times I have seen that the hand of God never rests to open and close doors in our favor (by the way, sometimes we think that closed doors are to make our life miserable, but no! Everything God does and allows is for our good).

There are many things for which I can thank God. This year I had the blessing of being able to be home with my family after a long time. I have been able to celebrate birthdays in person and not by a phone call, learn to cook with my mom, wash my car with my dad, eat ice cream with my sister after work, travel with my brother, see my nephew and niece… Moments with family are small miracles that the Lord gives us every day. Thank you Lord!!

God also has been so good that he not only gave me this year of being with my family, but that He knows the desires of my heart and how important it was for me to go to Venezuela to “close” this chapter of my life. When I left Venezuela I planned to return in a few months as I always did when visiting my parents. I didn’t say goodbye to people, I left all my things and traveled with an empty suitcase.

When the Lord changed my plans I was in shock, but how beautiful it is that He takes care of every detail, and it is only thanks to God and His kindness that I am writing this blog from Caracas, Venezuela!!! Thank you, thank you Father for this gift! I have been able to enjoy the city, visit my church, see my friends and family. And although the situation in the country is very difficult, my emotional tank has definitely been filled. I pray that this will be a time of refreshment and blessing for me and all the people I will meet.

THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR INFINITE MERCY, WISDOM AND GOODNESS! You know exactly what we need, not only our material needs, but also spiritual and emotional ones. Thank you because you satisfy ALL of them. Sometimes what we want is not exactly what we need, but thank you that You are merciful and always good to us. Help us not to worry when we see no response, but that we can have Your peace and trust that You are working even when we don’t see it!

En muchos lugares se celebra el Día de Acción de Gracias, y quisiera aprovechar este tiempo para agradecer al Señor y a ustedes que me leen todo su apoyo y sus oraciones. Quiero compartirles una súper noticia ¡¡¡Dios ha hecho un milagro!!! Bueno, +130 milagros la verdad. Hasta la fecha he recibido mas de 130 donaciones de personas que conozco, que no conozco y otros que han dado anónimamente.. todo esto para sumar y llegar a ¡97% de los fondos que necesito! 

Repito, ESTO ES UN MILAGRO. No hay otra forma de explicarlo y toda la gloria es sólo para Dios. No hay nada que humanamente yo haya podido hacer para que esto fuera posible. He tenido que confiar plenamente en Dios este 2019 y jamás pensé que iba a proveer todos los fondos antes de que terminara el año. Pero es que ¡El siempre hace mucho más de lo que podemos imaginar o entender! (Efesios 3:20) No cabe en nuestra cabeza todos lo que El está haciendo y sus planes para bendecirnos. 

Nuevamente ¡¡¡GRACIAS!!! Gracias primeramente a Dios, gracias a ustedes, gracias a mi familia y amigos por todo su apoyo. Estoy eternamente agradecida, gracias gracias gracias. Aún no lo puedo creer.

Además de este súper motivo de acción de gracias, hay tanto por lo cual estar agradecidos y que muchas veces tomamos por sentado.

Este 2019 no ha sido fácil para mí pero estoy eternamente agradecida porque en todo tiempo he visto que la mano de Dios nunca descansa para abrir y cerrar puertas a nuestro favor (por cierto, a veces pensamos que puertas cerradas son para fastidiarnos, pero ¡¡no!! Todo lo que Dios hace y permite es para nuestro bien).

Hay muchísimas cosas por las que puedo dar gracias a Dios. Este año he tenido la bendición después de mucho tiempo de poder estar en casa con mi familia. He podido celebrar los cumpleaños en persona y no por teléfono, aprender a cocinar con mi mamá, lavar el carro con mi papá, comer un helado con mi hermana después del trabajo, viajar con mi hermano, ver a mis sobrinos… Los momentos en familia son pequeños milagros que el Señor nos regala cada día. ¡¡Gracias Señor!!

El Señor ha sido tan bueno que no sólo me regaló este año de estar con mi familia, si no que El conoce los deseos de mi corazón y lo importante que era para mí ir a Venezuela a “cerrar” éste capítulo de mi vida. Cuando me fui de Venezuela pensaba volver en unos meses como siempre hacía al visitar a mis papás. No me despedí de la gente, dejé todas mis cosas y me fui con la maleta vacía. 

Cuando el Señor cambió mis planes estaba en shock, pero qué bello como El cuida de cada detalle, y ¡¡¡es sólo gracias a Dios y su bondad que estoy escribiendo este blog desde Caracas, Venezuela!!! ¡Gracias gracias Padre por este regalo! He podido disfrutar de la ciudad, visitar mi iglesia, ver a mis amigos y familia. Y aunque la situación en el país es muy difícil, definitivamente se ha llenado mi tanque emocional. Oro que este tiempo sea de bendición y refrescamiento para mí y todas las personas que veré.

¡GRACIAS DIOS POR TU INFINITA MISERICORDIA, SABIDURÍA Y BONDAD! Tu sabes exactamentes lo que necesitamos, no sólo nuestras necesidades materiales, sino espirituales y emocionales. Gracias porque Tú las satisfaces TODAS. A veces lo que queremos no es precisamente lo que necesitamos, pero gracias por que aún así tu tienes misericordia de nosotros y eres bueno siempre. Ayúdanos a no preocuparnos cuando no vemos respuesta, ¡sino que podamos tener Tu paz y confiar en que Tu estás trabajando aún cuando no lo vemos!

“No se preocupen por nada. Más bien, oren y pídanle a Dios todo lo que necesiten, y sean agradecidos. Así Dios les dará su paz, esa paz que la gente de este mundo no alcanza a comprender, pero que protege el corazón y el entendimiento de los que ya son de Cristo.” Filipenses 4:6-7

“Al que puede hacer muchísimo más que todo lo que podamos imaginarnos o pedir, por el poder que obra eficazmente en nosotros, ¡a Él sea la gloria en la iglesia y en Cristo Jesús por todas las generaciones, por los siglos de los siglos! Amén.” Efesios 3:20-21
