I want to share a little bit about what God has been speaking and doing in my heart these last couple of weeks, and how you can support me.

The thing that excites me most about being able to do this mission trip is being a witness to the world (including you who read me) of what God has done in my life and sharing who He is. Sharing the gift of eternal life with those who don't know Jesus yet makes everything worth it.

When I first left Venezuela I felt heartbroken by leaving my country how it is. When everybody was fleeing, I used to preach: "there is so much to do still in Venezuela, don't leave!!” I felt a conviction and responsibility (almost a burden that was too heavy to bear) in my heart to be a missionary in my own country. So when I left, I did feel a little bit of shame not knowing what I was going to tell friends and family, I was preaching one thing and doing something else.

BUT, as you know, God changed my plans -you can read my previous blogs about this- and several times He has told me that as much as I want to try and fix all the problems in the world, specially in Venezuela, there is nothing I can do physically with my hands that will meet the real profound spiritual needs that people have. ONLY JESUS can do this. And how beautiful it is that I have Jesus to share with them? With you?

So from now on, I understand that I can't worry about trying to help everyone or fix every problem, I release that burden that is not mine to carry. I am committing on doing my part planting seeds of the Kingdom and trusting God will do His part. He loves people more than I do, He loves Venezuela more than I do. He loves every country I will visit next year more than I do. I just have to be still and know that He is God. I choose to partner with Him in bringing His Kingdom down to earth. 

Nothing my squad and I can do with our hands is going to be enough to solve the world's problems, but Jesus is enough! ONLY JESUS. And we have Jesus in us, so that means we have more than enough and more than what people think they need. Will you partner with us? 

You can do this by praying for:

1. Me. I am praying and looking forward to building relationships with NGOs and churches in theses countries where we will be working that can maybe develop in long term missions. My desire is to be a full time missionary and I see this as a first step towards that.

2. My squad. We are a group of +30. We will need spiritual covering to be able to have boldness to share the Gospel with power, love, faith and peace. We also need heavenly provision and protection during this time.

3. Every local church and NGO we will be partnering with. May God use us as a blessing for them and may He open doors every minute for us/them to share the Gospel in the midst of difficulty and persecution. 

4. Every person I will meet and minister to. May God open my eyes to see all the opportunities He gives me to share who He is and show His love. May He also prepare their hearts to receive the greatest news ever (some of them maybe for the first time). 

"I don't have money or gold," said Peter, "but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, get up and go!" Acts 3:6

"So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow." 1 Corinthians 3:7

Quiero compartir un poco sobre lo que Dios ha estado hablándome y haciendo en mi corazón estas últimas semanas, y cómo me puedes apoyar. (si prefieres ver un video, puedes bajar un poco)

Lo que más me emociona de poder hacer este viaje misionero es ser testigo al mundo (incluyéndote a ti que me lees) de lo que Dios ha hecho en mi vida y compartir quién es Él. Compartir el regalo de la vida eterna con aquellos que aún no conocen a Jesús hace que todo valga la pena.

Cuando dejé Venezuela por primera vez, mi corazón se quebró al dejar mi país como está. Cuando todos huían, yo decía: "¡Hay tanto que hacer todavía en Venezuela, no te vayas!" Sentía una convicción y responsabilidad (casi una carga que era demasiado pesada) en mi corazón para ser misionera en mi propio país. Así que cuando me fui, sentí un poco de vergüenza al no saber lo que iba a decirle a mis amigos y familiares. Yo estaba predicando una cosa y haciendo otra.

PERO, como saben, Dios cambió mis planes -pueden leer mis blogs anteriores sobre esto- y varias veces me ha dicho que por mucho que quiera intentar solucionar todos los problemas del mundo, especialmente en Venezuela, yo no puedo hacer nada físicamente que satisfaga las necesidades reales y espirituales más profundas que tiene la gente. SOLO JESÚS puede hacer esto. ¿Y qué hermoso es que yo tenga a Jesús para compartir con ellos? ¿Contigo?

Entonces, de ahora en adelante, entiendo que no debo preocuparme por tratar de ayudar a todos o solucionar cada problema, libero esa carga que no es mía. Me comprometo a hacer mi parte sembrando semillas del Reino y confiando en que Dios hará su parte. Él ama a la gente más que yo, ama a Venezuela más que yo. Él ama cada país que visitaré el año que viene más que yo. Solo tengo que estar quieta y saber que Él es Dios. Elijo ser socia de Su plan para traer Su Reino a la tierra.

¡Nada de lo que mi equipo y yo hagamos con nuestras manos será suficiente para resolver los problemas del mundo, pero Jesús es suficiente! SOLO JESÚS. Y tenemos a Jesús en nosotros, lo que significa que tenemos más que suficiente y más de lo que la gente cree que necesita. ¿Quieres asociarte con nosotros?

Puedes hacer esto orando por:

1. Mí. Oro y espero construir relaciones con ONG e iglesias en estos países donde trabajaremos que tal vez puedan desarrollarse en misiones a largo plazo. Mi deseo es ser misionera a tiempo completo y veo esto como un primer paso hacia eso.

2. Mi equipo. Somos un grupo de +30 personas. Necesitaremos cobertura espiritual para poder tener valentía para compartir el Evangelio con poder, amor, fe y paz. También necesitaremos provisión y protección celestial durante este tiempo.

3. Cada iglesia local y ONG con la que nos asociaremos. Que Dios nos use como una bendición para ellos y que Él abra las puertas cada minuto para que compartamos el Evangelio en medio de dificultad y persecución.

4. Cada persona que conoceré. Que Dios abra mis ojos para ver todas las oportunidades que me da para compartir quién es Él y mostrar Su amor. Que Él también prepare sus corazones para recibir la mejor noticia de la historia (algunos tal vez por primera vez).

5. Cada país, ciudad, pueblo, calle y casa donde nuestros pies puedan entrar. Que Dios abra puertas para ir a lugares donde hay oscuridad y muerte para que podamos brillar Su luz y traer vida eterna.
 
También puedes ser parte del milagro que Dios está haciendo para proporcionar el dinero para los gastos que tendré el próximo año. ¡Con sólo 10 semanas antes del viaje, ya tengo +80% de los fondos que necesito! Esto es sólo por la gracia de nuestro Dios y la generosidad en los corazones de muchos que han decidido apoyarme financieramente. Yo estaré eternamente agradecida por tu aporte.
