WR 3.0 – Finally home! but not for too long / ¡Al fin en casa! pero no por mucho tiempo

I FINISHED WORLD RACE AMERICA!!

I finally got home after 4 months of traveling over 14,000 miles (WHAT?) through the United States with my team Kainos. During these controversial times that we live in the country -and the whole world actually- we got to serve different communities and partner with various non profit organizations and local churches. These were incredible months where my intimacy with the Lord grew exponentially, I learned to be in community 24/7 and to live with a “life is ministry, ministry is life” mentality showing God’s love and sharing Jesus’ message of hope, freedom, salvation and truth to everyone we met.

I have no words to express how grateful I am to God for what He has done in and through this team, my family, which has forever transformed me. It is also a miracle that we all got home safe and sound (and COVID free!!!) THANK YOU LORD!! And thank you for keeping us in your prayers during this time.

PS. so much happened that I have not had the time to tell you about, but I promise I will… For now you can see this video that sums up our Race that my teammate Hannah did.

 

NOW WHAT? WORLD RACE EXPEDITION 2021!!

In October while I was in California with WR America, I had the opportunity to travel to Georgia for a week to have a training camp and meet my new team with whom I will go out God willing in January 2021, I squad: +30 passionate and resilient young people who have decided to say YES to God’s call on their lives, without having a 100% sure plan or even knowing fully what it means to say YES.

After much consideration and prayer, God has opened the doors to serve internationally and I am very excited. I will be doing (GOD WILLING) the Expedition 2021 route that focuses on going to countries in the 10/40 window. Many things have changed thanks to COVID, and now instead of traveling to 11 countries we will be traveling for 11 months to 5 “regions” starting with Central America – Guatemala (again.. God willing). At the base there, we will be receiving training and learning how to minister to communities that have not yet heard about Jesus. This is something that I am passionate about and that God has put in my heart to do long term.

After Central America, we would be going to Europe, Central Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia. All these plans are being made with hands wide open to whatever God wants to do, this means that they can change. And if I have learned anything in 2020, it is to have peace and trust in the Lord and not in my plans.

I want to ask you please for your support in prayer, this is so important for me. Both my team and the leadership of Adventures in Missions will be making important decisions in the upcoming weeks. Please pray for wisdom, clarity and the guidance of the Holy Spirit for each step of faith we must take.

Also, if the Lord puts in your heart to support me financially, this will also be a great blessing. I currently have the funds to go to the first two regions, but God knows I would love to do the whole trip and for that I have to raise funds again! -a miracle that seams impossible for me, until I remember that God already did it once!! Lord, I say YES to whatever comes in 2021. I trust that You are orchestrating everything for my good and your Glory. Thank you for this chapter that I am closing, and I am expectant to what you have for me in this next stage of my life. You are good and your mercy is forever. Amen.

¡¡TERMINÉ WORLD RACE AMERICA!!

Finalmente llegué a mi casa después de 4 meses rodando más de 22.500 km  (QUÉ?) por los Estados Unidos con mi equipo Kainos. Estuvimos sirviendo durante estos tiempos tan controversiales que se viven en el país -y el mundo entero la verdad- a distintas comunidades y trabajando con varias organizaciones e iglesias locales. Fueron meses increíbles donde mi intimidad con el Señor creció exponencialmente, aprendí a estar en comunidad 24/7 y a vivir con una mentalidad de “la vida es un ministerio, el ministerio es vida” mostrando el amor de Dios y compartiendo el mensaje de esperanza, libertad, verdad y salvación que hay en Jesús a toda persona que nos encontramos.

No tengo palabras para expresar lo agradecida que estoy con Dios por lo que ha hecho en y a través de este equipo, mi familia, que me ha transformado de por vida. Además es un milagro que todas hayamos llegado a casa sanas y salvas (y libres de COVID!!!) ¡¡GRACIAS SEÑOR!! Y gracias a ustedes por mantenernos en oración durante este tiempo.

¿Y AHORA QUÉ? ¡¡WORLD RACE EXPEDICIÓN 2021!!

En Octubre mientras estaba en California con WR America, tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Georgia por una semana para tener un entrenamiento y conocer a mi nuevo equipo con el que saldré si Dios quiere en Enero 2021, I squad: +30 jóvenes apasionados y resilientes que han decidido decir SÍ al llamado de Dios para sus vidas, sin tener un plan 100% seguro o siquiera saber qué significa decir que SÍ. 

Luego de mucha consideración y oración, Dios ha abierto las puertas para servir internacionalmente y estoy muy emocionada. Estaré haciendo (SI DIOS QUIERE) la ruta Expedición 2021 que se enfoca ir a países en la ventana 10/40. Muchas cosas han cambiado gracias a COVID, y ahora en vez de viajar a 11 países estaremos viajando por 11 meses a 5 “regiones” empezando por Centro América – Guatemala  (de nuevo.. si Dios quiere). En la base ahí, estaremos recibiendo capacitaciones y aprendiendo cómo ministrar a comunidades que aún no han escuchado de Jesús. Esto es algo que me apasiona y que Dios ha puesto en mi corazón hacer a largo plazo.

Luego de Centro América, estaríamos yendo a Europa, Asia Central, Sur de Asia y el Sureste de Asia. Todos estos planes se están haciendo con las manos totalmente abiertas a lo que Dios quiera hacer, es decir que pueden cambiar. Y si algo he aprendido este 2020 es a tener paz y confianza en el Señor y no en mis planes. 

Quiero pedirte por favor tu apoyo en oración, esto es indispensable para mí. Tanto mi equipo como el liderazgo de Adventures in Missions estaremos tomando decisiones importantes estas próximas semanas. Por favor ora por sabiduría, claridad y la guía del Espíritu Santo para cada paso de fe que debemos dar. 

Además si el Señor pone en tu corazón apoyarme económicamente, esto también será de gran bendición. Actualmente tengo los fondos para ir a las dos primeras regiones, pero Dios sabe que me encantaría hacer el viaje completo y para eso tengo que levantar fondos de nuevo –un milagro que para mí es imposible, ¡¡hasta que me acuerdo que ya Dios lo hizo una vez!! ¿Por qué sigo dudándote Señor? Señor, desde ahora digo SI a lo que sea que venga en el 2021. Confío que Tú todo lo estas orquestrando para mi bien y tu Gloria. Gracias por este capítulo que estoy cerrando, y estoy a la expectativa de lo que tienes para mí en esta nueva etapa que viene. Eres bueno y para siempre es tu misericordia. Amén.
